Synonyms: Heliconia jacquinii.

Jacquinii is a naturally-occurring hybrid with vigorous and neat growth. This one is a tall grower, reaching 4m or sometimes slightly more. Flowers occur mainly in Summer/Autumn on large, upright spikes with yellow edges on the bracts.

Care

Very low maintenance. Apply generous manure and/or compost around the plant for best results as this is a plant that will do much better in a rich, organic soil.
